1. Acceptance, eligibility, and scope
These Terms and Conditions (the Terms) form an agreement between you and the operator of iOPlayer concerning your use of the iOPlayer website, Android application, device-management portal, activation services, software updates, support tools, and any related feature (together, the Service).
By accessing or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must have legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you.
2. Description of the Service
iOPlayer is a general-purpose media player and playlist-management application. It can process compatible user-provided M3U, M3U8, local playlist files, and Xtream Codes connection details. The portal lets a user associate playlist information with a device, edit or remove that information, check device activation, request support, and obtain supported application updates.
Features may differ by device type, Android version, application version, source format, geographic location, network conditions, and distribution channel. References to a feature do not guarantee that the feature will work with every device or third-party source.
3. Player-only model: no content included
iOPlayer does not provide, sell, license, host, curate, promote, or distribute television channels, films, series, subscriptions, playlists, or third-party media streams. Installing or activating iOPlayer does not give you access to media content.
You must obtain any playlist, credentials, media files, and viewing rights independently from a lawful source. iOPlayer is not affiliated with or responsible for a playlist provider merely because the provider's data can be entered into the app.
4. Lawful and authorized use
You may use iOPlayer to play personal media you own, access media supplied by an official or licensed provider, manage authorized private streams, use legally available public or free-to-air sources, and perform legitimate development or compatibility testing.
You are responsible for confirming that you have all permissions, licenses, subscriptions, and other rights required for every source you add and for the way you view, share, display, record, or otherwise use that source. Availability on the internet does not automatically mean content is lawful to access or redistribute.
5. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the Service to:
- access, stream, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display copyrighted content without authorization;
- circumvent access controls, digital rights management, authentication, regional restrictions, or source security;
- share, resell, sublicense, transfer, or commercially exploit an activation key except where we expressly allow it;
- probe, scrape, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the portal, APIs, update system, activation system, or infrastructure;
- upload malware, malicious links, deceptive information, stolen credentials, or material that violates another person's rights;
- impersonate iOPlayer, falsely claim an affiliation, or use iOPlayer branding to sell playlists or media subscriptions; or
- use the Service for any fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or unauthorized purpose.
6. User-provided playlists and credentials
You retain responsibility for the playlist information and credentials you submit. You represent that the information is accurate, that you are authorized to use it, and that its submission does not violate a contract, law, or third-party right.
Playlist names, categories, artwork, metadata, programme information, URLs, credentials, and stream behavior originate from you or your third-party source. iOPlayer does not control or verify their accuracy, legality, safety, continuity, or quality. Remove a source promptly if your authorization ends.
7. Device identity, access, and security
The app displays a device identifier and Device Key used to connect the device to the portal. You must protect these details, activation keys, playlist credentials, and any device with access to them. Do not publish them or provide them to an untrusted person.
You are responsible for activity performed through your device connection. Notify support if you believe a key or device connection has been compromised. We may require reasonable verification before changing an activation or disclosing device information.
8. Seven-day trial
Where offered, the trial is intended to let you evaluate device compatibility and available app functions before activation. Trial duration is calculated and enforced by the server using the registered device identity; reinstalling the app does not create a new trial entitlement.
A trial may be limited, changed, or withdrawn where necessary to prevent abuse or maintain the Service. When a trial expires, playlist access may be blocked until the device is validly activated.
9. Device activation and software license
A valid activation grants a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use supported iOPlayer functionality on the device associated with that activation. An activation key may be redeemed only as permitted by its terms and may not be reused across multiple devices.
Activation purchases cover the media-player software and related portal access only. They do not include third-party content or a media subscription. References to a lifetime activation mean the supported lifetime of the activated product and service, not an unconditional guarantee of perpetual operation, device compatibility, or third-party availability.
10. Prices, transactions, and refunds
Current pricing and the activation being purchased are shown before checkout. Prices, taxes, currencies, promotions, and available transaction methods may change. Transactions may be processed by an external payment service under that service's own terms and privacy practices.
Digital activation is normally delivered after a transaction is confirmed. Refunds, cancellations, duplicate transactions, and failed delivery requests are assessed under applicable consumer law and the circumstances of the transaction. Nothing in these Terms excludes a mandatory right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded. Contact support promptly if an activation was not delivered or a transaction appears incorrect.
11. Devices, networks, and compatibility
You are responsible for a compatible Android device, sufficient storage, a supported operating system, a reliable internet connection, and any data or network charges. Performance depends on device resources, decoder support, network quality, source configuration, geographic routing, and source capacity.
You should use the trial to test the functions and sources important to you. An app update, operating-system update, device limitation, or third-party change may affect compatibility. We do not guarantee support for every codec, container, playlist variation, device, or source.
12. Third-party sources, links, and services
The Service may interact with external playlist hosts, metadata services, trailer providers, network-testing services, payment processors, app stores, device settings, and websites. Those services are controlled by their respective operators and may change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue access without notice.
A link or technical integration does not constitute endorsement. Review the third party's terms and privacy policy before using it. Questions about content rights, source outages, account credentials, billing by a content provider, or source quality must be directed to that provider.
13. Portal data and privacy
The portal processes device identifiers, activation status, playlist configuration, support messages, and limited operational information needed to provide and secure the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains the categories of data, purposes, retention approach, security practices, and user choices.
Do not submit unnecessary personal information through playlist names, support requests, URLs, or credentials. You are responsible for ensuring that data you submit can lawfully be processed for the requested function.
14. Updates, maintenance, and availability
We may release security fixes, feature changes, compatibility updates, or new versions and may retire obsolete versions when reasonably necessary. Website-distributed builds may use the portal update channel; store-distributed builds may use the applicable store update mechanism.
The Service is provided subject to maintenance, security incidents, network failures, capacity limits, legal requirements, and events outside our reasonable control. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue a feature, but will not remove mandatory consumer rights.
15. iOPlayer intellectual property
The iOPlayer application, website, portal design, software, code, graphics, logos, documentation, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no ownership or license is transferred to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, create a misleading derivative product, remove ownership notices, or use iOPlayer branding without prior permission, except where applicable law expressly permits an activity that cannot be restricted by contract.
16. Support requests and feedback
You agree to provide accurate information when requesting support and not to include passwords, full payment credentials, unlawful material, or unrelated sensitive information. Support responses are intended to help diagnose iOPlayer and portal behavior; we cannot administer or guarantee a third-party playlist service.
If you voluntarily submit product suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use that feedback to improve iOPlayer without an obligation to compensate you, while you retain ownership of any rights that cannot be transferred by law.
17. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, trial abuse, key reuse, a security threat, unlawful activity, infringement, attacks on the Service, or a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate and legally required, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request assistance concerning eligible portal data. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and unresolved payment obligations, remain effective.
18. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free software, permanent availability, universal compatibility, or that a user-provided source will be lawful, safe, accurate, available, or playable.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory warranty or consumer protection that cannot legally be waived.
19. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, iOPlayer and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, including loss of profits, business, opportunity, data, credentials, playlists, or access caused by a third-party source, network, device, or service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion is unlawful, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law does not permit limitation. Any remaining liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
20. Responsibility for claims arising from misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your infringement of another person's rights, content or credentials you submit without authorization, or your material breach of these Terms. This provision does not apply where the claim resulted from our own unlawful conduct.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product changes, security requirements, legal obligations, or business practices. The current version and revision date will be published on this page. Where a change materially affects your rights and notice is legally required, we will use a reasonable notice method.
Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, stop using the Service.
22. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the iOPlayer operator is established, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections available in the consumer's country of residence. Before starting formal proceedings, you are encouraged to contact support so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
23. General legal terms
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your activation or rights under these Terms except where we approve the transfer or applicable law requires otherwise.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any transaction terms shown at checkout form the agreement concerning the Service and replace earlier statements on the same subject. Headings are for convenience and do not change interpretation.
24. Contact and legal notices
For questions about these Terms, activation delivery, suspected key misuse, privacy, or a legal-use concern, visit the official iOPlayer homepage, choose Help, and submit a support request. Include only the information needed to identify the device or issue.
Copyright owners or authorized representatives may use the same support channel to report a specific infringement concern connected to the Service. A report should identify the protected work, the relevant location or device information, the reporter's authority, and reliable contact details.
